Established in May 1970, the Sri Sathya Sai Health and Education Trust is a Public Charitable Trust that has been dedicated to serving humanity. Under Section 12 A of the Income Tax Act, 1961, the trust provides totally free of cost services to all, regardless of caste, religion, nationality, or financial status.
Our journey began with the Sri Sathya Sai General Hospital in Whitefield, rural Karnataka. Since then, we have served over two million outpatients and conducted over twenty thousand surgeries in all general specialties. Our founder, Revered Sri Sathya Sai Baba, worked tirelessly to alleviate the suffering of millions worldwide. His life’s message, “Love All Serve All,” continues to guide us in our mission.
At the heart of our work is the provision of quality education and healthcare, along with basic drinking water, to millions of people. These services are offered completely free of cost, as enduring testimonies to our founder’s love and compassion for humanity. We are motivated by his strength and inspiration as we continue to serve society.
In 2012, we established the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Child Heart Centres and Mother and Child Hospitals. These centers provide totally free of cost services and are spread across the nation. They are recognized as centers of public service and nation building. Our Chief Patron, Revered Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai, is a constant source of inspiration and support in our mission to serve the unserved and reach the unreached.
One of the critical areas we focus on is the care of children with heart disease. In India, over 2,40,000 children are born every year with heart disease, which is a leading cause of infant mortality. Unfortunately, the care for these children remains grossly inadequate and beyond the reach of many families.
In gratitude to our founder, the Trust has embarked on a journey to address the global burden of Congenital Heart Diseases through the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Centre for Child Heart Care. Our chain of hospitals treats children totally free of cost, restoring dignity to their lives and gifting them a healthy childhood.
The first dedicated totally free of cost Centre for Child Heart Care was established in Atal Nagar (prev. Naya Raipur), Chhattisgarh in November 2012. Since then, we have been expanding our reach, and the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani International Centre for Child Heart Care is the latest addition to our network.
We understand the importance of providing timely and quality healthcare to children with heart diseases. Through our centers, we aim to bridge the gap in access to care and ensure that no child is left behind. Our dedicated team of medical professionals and support staff work tirelessly to provide the best possible care to every child who comes through our doors.
Our commitment to serving society extends beyond national boundaries. We are actively working towards establishing more centers in several states of India and other countries. By doing so, we hope to make a significant impact on the lives of children and families affected by heart diseases.
We are grateful for the support and inspiration we receive from our founder, Revered Sri Sathya Sai Baba, and our Chief Patron, Revered Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai. Their teachings and guidance continue to drive us in our mission to love and serve all.
The Sri Sathya Sai Health and Education Trust remains dedicated to providing free healthcare and education to all, regardless of their background or financial status. Through our efforts, we strive to create a world where every child has access to quality healthcare and a chance to live a healthy and fulfilling life.
