Every year, from the 22nd to the 24th of October, the small village of Kitoor in Karnataka, India, comes alive with vibrant colors, joyful music, and a deep sense of pride. This is the time when the Kitoor Utsav takes place, a grand celebration that honors the memory of one of India’s most iconic freedom fighters – Rani Chennamma.
