Said Business School, University of Oxford, has announced the launch of three official summer school programmes for high school students (aged 16-18), offering them an unparalleled opportunity to study at the world’s number one university.

Following the success of the Future Climate Innovators Programme in 2024, Oxford Said is expanding its youth education portfolio with two new courses – Future Innovators Entrepreneurship and Future AI & Big Data Pioneers. These exclusive, in-person programmes will provide students with hands-on learning experiences, immersing them in cutting-edge fields that are shaping the future of global economies, industries, and societies.

Each programme has been carefully designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to tackle global challenges:

  • Future Climate Innovators: Building on Oxford Said’s longstanding commitment to sustainability education, this programme will provide students with insights into climate science, sustainable business practices, and climate policy. Participants will work on real-world challenges, learning from leading academics and industry experts.

  • Future Innovators Entrepreneurship: A dynamic programme that introduces students to entrepreneurship and innovation. From ideation to pitching, students will develop their own business ideas while learning from experienced entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and Oxford faculty.

  • Future AI & Big Data Pioneers: This programme will immerse students in the world of artificial intelligence and big data, focusing on their ethical implications, business applications, and potential to drive societal change. Participants will gain hands-on experience in problem-solving using AI and machine learning tools.

“Through these programmes, we are creating a global platform for young changemakers to develop the skills they need to shape the future. These students will gain academic knowledge, build lifelong connections and take part in meaningful discussions that will influence their careers,” said Josephine Fawkes, Director of Global Inclusion and Youth Education at Said Business School.

Participants in the summer programmes will receive official certification from the University of Oxford and become part of the Oxford Said Youth Education and Global Inclusion e-lumni network. As the only official summer school programmes at Oxford offering certification, this initiative presents a unique opportunity for ambitious students seeking to advance their education at a world-class institution.

Global climate challenge: A pathway to Oxford

In addition to the summer schools, Oxford Said continues its mission of inspiring young leaders through the Oxford Said Global Climate Change Challenge 2025. This competition, now in its third year, invites high school students and teachers worldwide to propose innovative solutions to climate change challenges. The top-performing students and teachers will win scholarships for in-person courses at the University of Oxford, offering them a chance to study at one of the world’s most prestigious institutions.

Applications for all three summer school programmes are now open. Interested students can apply here:Said Business School Youth Programmes.
